Default Fuel Rail Covers Without Plenum Cover?

I was thinking about doing the whole plenum cover/fuel rail cover thing, but I really don't want to cover up the V8. I haven't seen anyone do it, but what are ya'lls thoughts on just adding the fuel rail covers?

I was thinking it might give the engine a more 2011 5.0 look. Not really sure...

I'd rather paint the valve covers than put on those fuel rail covers.

Did you ever get around to doing just the fuel rail covers? Got any pictures? I am total agreement about not covering my V8 with a plenum cover.

To 07GrabU, If I just painted my valve covers, which I might also do, I still have these fuel rails and wires and such that block the view and look untidy.

Please gals & gals, don't jump my case for commenting on an old post. I want to know about this exact same thing.

Not sure what to tell ya on hiding the wires and such, I imagine someone has done a reroute of their wires. Lot of tedious work. I just did black wrinkle finish valve covers on mine.

Necro!

But seriously, I haven't even touched it yet. I've been doing a lot of exterior body work so I haven't been putting much money into the other side of the hood.

I hope someone has some opinions/photos though!
