carbon fiber wrap
#11
I was wrapping stuff all weekend! I did my whole center console, all the plastic around the radio, my automatic shifter and some other parts. The center console was a little more complicated, but it turned out great in the end! I still have a few more things to do when I can get the time.
I was thinking the center console would be pretty hard to wrap, You got an advice for doing corners?

I orders 2 rolls of 4x2. For the center console, you probably will need it 2' wide. I think I had about 6 inches extra off the side and maybe a foot or more left on the end.

I haven't mastered them yet... what I tend to do is get the top completely done and smooth, and then I smooth out the sides that you will see, then I just make a fold so there's only a little crease that isn't very noticeable. I'll try to get some pictures up tonight of what I've done so far. The hardest part on the center console is wrapping near the emergency brake. I had to piece part of it together, but if you get the pattern to match, nobody but you will no

I always kind of thought fake carbon fiber was kind of ricerish. But my interior is so dull the 5 peices i wrapped really makes a differnce.
On my drivers side switch panel i did, one of the corners there was a little bit of grey showing that i missed, you can see it in the picture. So i jsut too ka black sharpie and colored it haha and it actaully blends in
