Some Before & After Pics
Got my tint done today (finally). I went with 100% on the quarters and 35% (legal limit in TN) on the front two. I left the back window alone. It's hard to see out of at night as it is.
I'll probably go darker on the fronts (down to 20%) once I can afford to have a ticket. Right now, I really don't need a cop looking for an excuse to pull me over.

(killer parking job, amirite?)

It's hard to tell the difference in the last two because I took them a couple hours apart and at different angles.
I just snapped some pics with my Evo, I'll get a real camera to take pics with one of these days.
Next mod is dual exhaust, and them I'm done with power mods until I go with a nitrous setup.

I parked it on the curb for four reasons:
1.) Because of the way they designed the curbs, I bottom out when I'm backing up unless I get that certain spot in the driveway
2.) If I had parked in the driveway, I would've had to park under the basketball goal, which means that my car (which had just been painstakingly cleaned) would've been target practice for any bird with an impending bowel movement
3.) I missed a spot on my right front rim, and I had to correct that
4.) I had to turn around and leave to get gas, so there was no point in parking in the driveway
Most of the time, I park in the driveway. But the way the shuffle was working today (between my car, my mom's car, and my dad's truck), it just wasn't in the cards.
The only downside to the tint is that I can't roll my windows down until Friday (to give the treatment time to cure). Which sucks, because this week is the first week where we've had temperatures in the sixties-window down weather- in months. Oh well, just the price to pay, I guess.
And I understand what you're saying about it being one of the best mods. Cost me 75 bucks and it changed the car's appearance completely. Definitely a great bang for your buck.

I didn't replace the stripping yet, because the guy who does that wasn't in today. I definitely need to, though. My tint on my old car was completely ruined because Ford thought it'd be cool to not put any felt in the door lining.
