I like the look of the Decklid Panel from American Muscle. It looks like it would be easier to clean than the honeycomb panel. It's a bit more expensive than the magnetic one.

Another vote for the vinyl Rocky Mountain panel, or whatever brand.
I've had 2 on mine in the past 4+ years, switched from gloss black to flat black. Easy to remove & no damage if you don't like. Cheap, about $20.00

I bought the smooth black one that attaches with the double-stick tape from American Muscle. The first one got ripped off in a parking garage while I was at a concert by someone who was either trying to steal it, or had a vendetta against Mustangs.

I noticed that the second one I ordered had a much better fit around the fake gas cap, but the top right corner already is coming off of the body due to it not sticking.

And as mentioned before, the tape is TERRIBLY tough to try to take off. I originally started to do it when I had a few minutes break before having to go back to observe a class, but the stuff wouldn't budge. I wish I had known about Goof Off at the time since I literally made my fingers bleed trying to peel it off. I wish I knew the guy who tried to steal my first one so I could punch him in the face for that alone. =/

thanks for the additional input. Even if the taped ones looked better, I hear everyone's pain trying to remove it at some point. Think I'll stick w/the Rocky Mountain Vinyl magnetic one. I would like it on just part of the time, not looking for a forever change.

And I will take everyone's advice on how to remove a taped item, our used Mustang came w/the dreaded Dealer emblem on the truck lid. I have heard wait until warmer temps, then heat up more w/blow dryer and than slowly pull. So should I also pour droplets of goo removal as well as I start to pry the sticker off?

On another forum a guy took a honeycomb panel and taped quite a few magnetic strips to it.
Then he stuck it to the back of the car and could get it off and on as he pleased.

A much less painful option than going with full 3M tape.
