Default "Simulated" Glass Roof

I see alot of cars nowadays with glass roof options and the universal appeal I have with them is the black color that the tint produces on the roof. Well by bud owed me some booth time at the stealership, so I thought wtf...id give it a shot. Got a free buff job out of the deal to boot (YES!)....thank you Mikey, you did good
Crappy pic's for now, but non-crappy soon to follow.

FLAME ON!!!!!
Just be nice about it

New Pic's

Pretty pleased with it myself, help's bring out the black DDB's and with the tinted rear window completes the line down the back of her. Goin to the tint man monday for a front windshield strip to complete the look.
I would love to see pw with this done...is would look so choice.

Lol I actually really like it. Much better than 2,000+ for glass roof.

I have friends that have done that to 370z's, lancer's, and maxima's. Looks good on the mustang!

When you state "booth time", you mean the roof was painted black?

Yep, had him paint match the wheels and lay the clearcoat on thick to simulate the glass surface. From more than 3ft away you would think that its glass.
Tanks for the feedback guys.

I like it. I woulda laughed if you told me before you did it, but I woulda been wrong...lol. I wouldn't mind volunteering my white car for the treatment, but it's not in the funds right now.
