Side Scoops help plz!

Hi just got 2 side scoops in the mail. They were the 129.00 pair for AM. Had them painted and about to put them on. Question is does the 3m tape go flush with the edge of the scoop?

More or less yes. Place the scoop up to your car to test fit it and you will see where it goes.
