GT parts question....Is it poserish?
So i have a 2007 v6 stang, Is there any thing wrong with putting GT parts on my car? Like spoiler, foglights, exhaust, wheels. I dont plan on doing the emblems cause i know i dont have a GT and it will never be one. What do you all think, is it poserish?

Make it your own, just don't put "GT" on it anywhere. I have a V6, and have put a bunch of things on it to make it my own. That's what is so great about these cars.......so many different ways to go about making it your own. Just my 2 cents. By the way, you have the best color.................

As far as the spoiler -- my Pony package came from the factory with the GT spoiler, as did many other base V6's. So I'm not sure that I would call it the "GT" spoiler. And the one that is traditionally thought of as the V6 spoiler was the stock spoiler on the Shelby GT500 when it first came out. So definitely no lock on any model for that spoiler.

I personally don't think its poser-ish.
But then again I'm a little bias. If you don't miss badge your car most people aren't going to think its a GT, just by rims, bumpers, or spoilers. And if they know that much about Mustangs to pick out those parts they should also be able to tell that is not a GT.

Even rims aren't always on GTs. My Pony Package came with 17" rims as well as the spoiler that is on the GT500 KR. However I did put two GT mufflers along with an x pipe and mid pipe.
So no, go ahead put all the GT parts on that you want, just don't put a GT badge or emblems on it. THAT's when I think people cross the line be it V6 badging as a GT or a GT badging as a GT500.

Put whichever "GT" parts you want to on your car, just for the love of God, don't badge it as a GT. A lot of people don't know much about mustangs so if you put in the GT front fascia, a few may get fooled, but those who have a history (or obsession) with mustangs should know. If not, shame on them.
I know of a college student around here with a v6 sonic blue that put all sorts of cobra badges on his car, along with a cobra front bumper and gt rear. The bumpers would have looked great, but the fact that he badged it as a cobra and then put cheap, crappy square blue lights in the grill just made it go all to hell. When I see people do that, I think 1) Poser and 2) It's guaranteed that they have 0 performance parts.
Grab a spoiler, some GT fogs, a GT rear, some stock GT wheels, and you're car will look great without looking poserish. And if someone claims you are a poser, refer them to me.
