Your car reminds me SO MUCH of my 06GT. They look almost identical but mine had matte black racing stripes with a 1/4" space in between 1" pinstripes following beside each racing stripe. All the way from front bumper to back of course.

I had the same wheels as you as well.

Got them off a slightly used totaled 2011 GT for $50.00, here is a picture for size
comparision to the old mirror.

 

They look a lot better. Thinking about selling my painted mirrors and buying a set of these now.

A how to.... yes. Actually a how to score a couple mirrors without paying dealer price..

 

I like the swap, might have to look into more myself

 

Maybe an aftermarket firm can run with this idea for us?! I'd buy them instantly if they bolted right up to an 05-09.

But then again if I can get them at a junk yard for 50 bucks I'd rather put in the extra effort than pay retail.

 

I plan on doing this next month. All that you need to do is I believe drill an extra hole or something for them to mount, nothing major.
