i do agree that the shr emblem is outrageously overpriced, but i loved the look so much i just went for it. with that said, painting the stock emblem black still looks really badass.

Same as 808, bought an extra cap, did all the prep work, and painted mine. Way cheaper than buying an aftermarket one from AM.

Soo how exactly do you get this thing off of there? I was in the garage for about an hour unbolting bolts with no results. Is it really just on there with doublesided tape? Seems cheap. I need some help from those who plasti-dipped theirs. How get off? How put on again? How mask middle circle?

I didn't take mine off. I just masked around it and taped paper towels everywhere. To mask the center emblem just tear off tiny pieces of tape for around the edges and just fill in the center, pretty easy to do and not all that time consuming.
