I like the consisent look of the film and overall I just think it looks cleaner. The darker/lighter option depends on what film % you choose. 2.5%, 30%, etc. either way it is not that difficult. VHT's nightshade is a good spray product I personally just like the film look.

Hmm maybe I need to check out wal-mart and get a dependable set of scissors... I'd want like 20%. Not black, but definitely smoked. Thanks for the info, usc, I appreciate it a lot.

If $70 for a kit that will only take you 10 minutes to install (no measuring, cutting or any other bs) is going to break your bank...I might have to come to Florida and smack you around a bit, lol

true the pre-measured kits are technically easier, but if for whatever reason you mess up with a kit then you have something missing or you have to buy one of the pieces by itself for $20 more. Assuming someone was going to spend $70 on this project the roll of film is $15 leaving them with $55 to spend on something else, but to each his own.

I'm with you don't get me wrong...it just comes down to how much time you have available. It was worth it to me because I work 2 jobs(70+ hours a week) so the easier, quicker install fit my schedule. If you have the time to do it yourself Xpel sells rolls of film as well (http://www.xpel.com/products/bulk.asp).

haha thanks Pascal. I'll figure something out soon but I can definitely afford the $70 price tag haha. the first step is to get the grille and HID kit, as I can't afford to have the already limited line of sight get worse due to the light tint. I've got some saving to do.

I'd say go for it, mad. The new grille with hidden fogs would look great. Imo, I think smoked turn signals would stand out a little more, but its entirely up to you. You're car seems to change around quite a bit, i think thats pretty cool.

Thanks Jaybe. Well, it seems to change a lot because the front end is brand new and the new look needs to be tweaked. I just bought some fog/headlight/turn signal pre-cut tint off of Ebay. Cost me $25 so I'll throw it on there and see how it looks. If it isn't jiving too well, I'll just take 'em off, no big deal.
