Default 07 Gt Radiator extension covers question

Greetings!

I am interested in installing a set of radiator extension covers to my
07 GT / CS. I have already installed the Ford CAI and I was wondering if the left side cover would fit with the CAI in place.

Can the extension cover bolt on OVER the front of the CAI? If not, what has been done to make it work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These are what you are taking about, correct?

From the picture, it would seem that it would fit just fine with any CAI.

The FRRP CAI mounts on top of the existing radiator shroud and it does not appear that the extension will fit without some modifications. This is my car.

Just wondering if anyone else has done what I want to do and how was it done.

Those extensions will not work with your CAI bucket.. unless you cut them.

I've seen people cut them.. they look nice..

And I really hate to mention this.. but bangastang.com has a new set of covers that work with this CAI bucket..

good luck

Ah, I see. You would probably have to cut them. If you are careful, they could look good like that, but if you screw it up, you just wasted a week's pay at my job.

But yeah, it could be done.
