I like to go thru craigslist and look for mustang parts and came upon this ad. Thoughts?

If you have a GT500 Front End, go for it.

It does seem kind of shady... Theres no harm in checking it out, but I would want to see shipping manifests for the lot. Make sure they are not stolen, fake, rejects, etc. Make sure its kosher

I live in Vegas about 4 hours from this shop. If it was around the corner I would be there in a second. Anyone in LA area willing to check it out?

Sorry to show my lack of knowledge but why wouldn't this fit on any 05-09 mustang?

It will fit as far as mounting it, but the GT500 hood raises up in the middle over the grill because of the rounder grill and angled headlight buckets. So you end up with a gap.

The hood on the rest of the Mustang line up is straight across.

I called the guy, asked "how the hell can you do this?" He said that they get a great price on the hoods from their supplier(don't know if that means they "fell" of the back of a truck) and then they sell the stock aluminum hoods for a profit. I looked up their info online, this is their website:

http://crossroadsautoparts.com/

They seem like a legit business. Anyone in SOCAL heard of these guys/close enough to check it out? Any body shop guys(Pascal) have an opinion?
