just got free gt500 hood (california)
So i read an add a few months back on craigslist about an autoparts shop tradimg their gt500 hoods (real ford hoods) for free. I passed thinking it was a scam but a friend went and did it so i just had to check it out. I went yesterday and they have only 3 colors available..red, blue and silver. I got lucky they had my exact red. My friend went with me and he did not do it because he has a white 06 gt and didnt want to look "silly" haha i would just paint the hood white but either way i reccomend you do it if you want a new look.
The hood fits very well, a bit longer then stock but looks more aggressive in my opinion and the vents are better for the car. It also a higher cowl look to it. Amyways i will put up pics later on today! U can find his add on clist.
Hope this is helpful for any of you trying to go for a different look. And no, you dont need to convert the whole front to make it fit or look clean. Thanks!
