Default Please help me decide on tires.

I posted this in the handling section, but am having trouble getting responses.

I ordered some new wheels, and will need to get new tires as they are bigger than the stock. The new wheels are 18x9 and I plan on going 255/45/18 all the way around. I drive for work everyday and am looking for something economical. I live in Vegas so it doesn't get that cold. I do not take the car to the track. I wouldn't say that I am an aggressive driver, but not a grandma either. Tread life is very important to me, as well as cost. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I would like to pull the trigger today and order. Thanks for some input. I know most of the guys in this section take their cars to the track and have higher end tires but I appreciate any help to find tires for my DD. It is between the following:

Eagle F1 Asymmetric-They have a 2007 production date.

PROXES STII

ECSTA LX PLATINUM-mostly due to 60000 mile warranty

DIREZZA DZ101

I also have $150 to spend at American Muscle so these 3 are choices also:

Once again thanks for any help.

I would go with the Sumitomo HTZ-II I had them for a good 15k and was very happy with them, I still have them on the front. Good tread life, smooth, and has pretty decent grip for the price.

I had them all the way around as well.

I just ordered the Eagle's. They were on closeout and recommended by 3 people in the handling section. I will repost once they are on and have driven them for a while.

The Sumitomo's are a good sticky tire for racing. But Very poor for DD...............also look at the warranty on the Sumitomo's.............There is an operating temperature that is VERY restrictive.
AM is pushing them on their inexpensive imported wheels!!!

Wouldn't that have been your choice?

I went with the 2010 GT 500 black with machined face from American Muscle, they matched CRuzin's low price.
