Default Anyoe going spoilerless

I took off my spolier due to receiving a new one this week in the mail. Washed the car this morning and as I was admiring my work, I really liked the look with no spolier. Now I can't pull it off unless I had the holes in the deck filled and repaint it( I totally scratchered it pulling the old one off, not good when you have a short fuse and are doing something that requires patience). Just wondering if anyone else thought this when they swapped their spoiler or are currently going without it. Is it the Saleens that don't have a spoiler?

Edit: added pics. To me the last photo looks more like the late 60's fastback lines, very sleek.

Shelby GTs and Bullitts don't have rear spoilers.

Mine is also spoiler less. I love the look, it really grew on me.

Pics of yours without a spoiler?

if you do a search say for "spoiler delete" or similar you'll find plenty stuff, however, i did not find a proper solution short of fill/paint or swap lid to het a clean outcome to close the mounting holes and i want to keep the option to go back to stock. still looking....

i pulled off mine last week, came off fairly easy, warm day, a little careful!! wiggle and pressure with my hands underneath both sides of either stand.

put on a 6er spoiler i got used in my color. btw, to take off all the tape (pleeenty on the 6er) the ONLY way that worked well short of taking a week off work is the 3m stripe off wheel, found it for a good price on ebay.

not sure if this is the last word on mine but so far i like it better than the stock gt one.

I would probably go spoiler-less if it weren't for the damn holes and I think the plugs look tacky.

My gt doesnt have a spoiler and I love the look. Most of the s197s I see have the same stock spoiler and personally I think it sets me apart from the rest a little. And I've actually gotten a couple compliments about the spoiler less look.

I thought about going spoilerless when I was swapping out my pedestal spoiler for one more low profile. When I was waiting for my new spoiler to come in I decided to take it off and see how I liked it. I fell in love with the look and started searching for a spoilerless deckilid. Last week I found someone selling a brand new in the box '10 decklid for $300!
So, pretty soon I'll have the look I want out back!
Edit: just realized this was the 05-09 section, but I still dig the spoilerless look!

Would never consider a spoiler for my car. Obviously I'm going for a Bullitt thing, but still - I love the clean look.

I wanted a 13D SPOILER DELETE Mustang GT when I got my car back in 2008, but couldn't find one. I didn't want to do the plugs or go through the expense of filling the holes and repainting, so I ordered a pre-painted GT500 spoiler.

I am very happy with the look now (didn't care much for the pedestal spoiler).

Wow that looks really nice. I think I'm going to do that with my car.. Just ordered a GT spoiler from AM but I'm really digging the spoilerless look.
