Hey guys I have 08 gt. When I bought my car the side stripe says gt 300. The car is stock. I am doing some work on my car I was thinking of changing this to mean something. Any suggestions ?

It means 300 HP. Why do you want to change it?

Yes, the (2005 - 2009) GT's are stock 300 HP. The 2010 model was bumped up to 315 HP.

^That's 300hp at the crank. If you're doing some mods, yea, why not get rid of the 300 since you'll be selling yourself short. Ever consider just removing the stripe all together?

The stripe really completes the car. Ill post a picture when I get home. Or I have another thread called new facia grill and hood with a picture of it

I remember seeing that thread and the blue rocker decal looks decent with your blue racing stripes.
Are the racing stripes painted or vinyl? If they are vinyl, it would look nice extending the stripe over the bumpers as well. Just a thought. ;-)

... actually i like the look on no side stripe, when i took mine off it looked much cleaner.
