Question Window tint / courtesy lights

I am going to have my windows tinted on my 06 tungsten grey stang Tuesday.
I already know the don't clean with ammonia and don't roll windows down.
Only thing is when you open the door it automatically rolls down alitle and then up to seal. Should I be worried about this during the 3-4 days?
Is there a way to disable that and leave them cracked or anything while it cures?

Edit: addition of question
- has anyone added puddle/courtesy lights to their stang?
I've seen kits where you can install them in your side view mirrors to illuminate near your door.
Was wondering if this would be a good idea to do. Other placement location would be under the door sill but I wouldn't like that as much

open your door,
unplug the window motor (don't know if there's a fuse for it or not...)

it should stay down then.
Although watch out for water. it can get in that way (i believe)

When I got my windows tinted I just opened the doors as little as possible for the first few days. They looks fine, but if you haven't replaced the factory weather stripping then it will scratch your tint. I didn't do it before I re-tinted my windows last year, and now the front windows already look like crap.

Here is a thread over replacing the weather stripping.
I'm not sure if you can find it at Autozone or not.

Both of the tint on my windows are all messed up, not sure why though the car came this way. It's vertical lines streaking up and down.

Here... http://www.tintprotector.com/

Also, the people doing your tint may have it. I would ask about it and they could intall it when they tint the windows. As far as the window movement is concerned... nothing to worry about.

Check this out too...

Yeah fix the door sills first. I realized this after the fact. Ordered the fix and they have not gotten worse. Its an easy fix too.
