Thats interesting, how does shelby normally attach the grilles if they don't fit perfectly to the hood? Just using the studs you mentioned?

I'm not sure what Shelby uses on cars built in Vegas. The one's I've seen have been mod shop installs, and have used various methods (tape, panel adhesive, etc). Haven't seen one (other than my own) with the bonded studs.

Ok well regardless Ill just have to figure out which way I want to go with the vents. This should be a familiar question, best place to get the front conversion? I see them in a couple places but where is the best to buy? I really want to get one that has everything included and not parts left out that I have to track down later. And sure Mellow any help or knowledge would be appreciated, yours came out perfect I love it.

I did the gt500 conversion on my car. I used all ford factory parts. I have a parts list with everything. It also has the ford part numbers on it. I think it runs you approx 2500$ if you splice the wiring harness. But don't hold me to that. The fitment on everything was perfect and it lined up great to my gt500 venom hood by tru fiber. Checkout my sig.
