Turn Signals: Tint the Amber or buy Smoked?
#31
I have changed the turn signals twice on my car now. After changing the driver's side the first time the rest have been simple. Once you remove the cover from the wheelwell there are two clips and the light harness to remove. Very easy. Even easier to put the new lense in. The instructions from American Muscle were spot on. New lenses give no concern of bubbles, rips, etc. Really been one of the easiest mods I have done.

Found these on Ebay, prices $25-40, looks like what you got Jim but already tinted.
Thoughts ladies and gentlemen?

That is the smoked Stags, and I think it is the same seller that I bought from a couple of years ago. I went with the black and when they arrived I realized the smoked is what I should have bought.
I haven't had any problems at all with mine so I say go for it.

Gotcha. Id rather not deal with tint if I dont have to, some appearance stuff requres levels of craftsmanship I dont have. So Ill be getting these when I get home for $30 a solid mod. Any install threads?

Don't try to change them without taking off the wheel well covers, it won't work. take a small box wrench and shove it on the white clips while pushing from the front (needle nose pliers work but this is easier). you CAN get them in and out with a little force so unless you feel squeamish about bending plastic, you wont have to take the wheels off.
also the bulb housing can be a bitch so take them off before the turn signal itself.
