so all the hid talk confuses me, can use this type of housing, cant use that type.
etc etc.
are OEM 2006 headlights fine for hid's?
Or do I need to get something like this

Most of the talk here regarding housings is regarding the special housings for the OEM factory HID setup. Yes, you can use your existing non-HID housings to install an HID conversion kit into.

Mine is a 2006 and I installed them without a housing issue.

Should be 4300K.
