Do they even fit? I would be shocked. You're probably going to have to test the one you have (2009) and make the new one matched it electrically, which is a lot of work why not buy the 2010 style raxiom set?

Or wait... What exactly are you doing? Just changing the bulbs and not the whole tail light? Pics would help

Why not just buy LED/housing replacements to fit the '05 thru '09? I don't get it...

They are called the Joule and are made by Sylvania/Osram. I would think you should be able to order replacements from any FORD dealer. Last time I checked (over a year ago) they were like 70.00 a pop! Times 6 for Mustang tails and pretty expensive. I went with regular LED bulbs in my tails, but they don't work like an incandescent bulb. The housings are designed for regular bulbs and generic LED replacements just don't have the same illumination pattern. These Joule bulbs are probably the BEST replacement you can get to retro fit stock tails into LED. Aftermarket LED tail housings are ugly IMO.

hey guys,

I already bought the 2010 style tail light, now what i wanted is the same bulb of 2010+ to install it to my mustang 2009 because the after market led is ugly and they are not like 2010, also these bulbs are kinda fire light and much brighter than old bulbs

some guys did it to ford escape but i don't know if some one did it to a mustang

i really wanna complete my project with something cool
