Default Belt Issues

Hello i have a 05 Saleen, i have installed 3 different belts on the car, all three broke with in 15 secs of running. I have checked all the pulleys, they spin freely and are not bent, there are no sharp spots on the pulley that can cause the belt to break. The only thing i noticed is the Crank pulley sits about 3/8" of an inche farther out then the rest of the pulleys. Could this cause the belt to break and if so how do i fix it, do i need a new crank pulley?

Pulley mis-alignment will break belts. While the pulley may stick out further though, is that due to size (it is a little wider)? or is it a case of not being in line with the others? Does the belt rub at that pulley, or does it ride on the inside?

heck ya thats a problem. need to figure out why that pulley is out of wack. maybe the pulley might be failing and coming apart? ( happened on my 4.0, and is pretty common) or its not on all the way. 3/8" is huge.
