My dad thought of doin this to his rims on his jeep one day ... I never thought of doin this to the engine to clean it up... I wonder about doing the interior with carbon fiber hydroprint. Looks great though!

Looks good, next add a plenum cover and do the same print.
If I read your post more carefully I would have realized you you had the shaker and where doing the print on that. That's what I get for just looking at the pictures.

IIRC, it doesn't take long at all. You lay the sheet in water and the material it is printed on dissolves, then you simply dip the piece into the water straight down and voila. My guess is the longest wait is probably for it to dry (if there is any wait for dry time at all).

The place I take my parts to usually takes two to three days depending on how busy they are at the time.
