Default Interior Door Panels

I don't know if anyone on here has done this, but looking for some advice. I am a hands on person and would like to try to install my own red door inserts, I have saw where some have done this and have painted them as well. I found the original fabric that ford uses for the inserts as well. Has anyone done this or attempted to and can shed some light onto this before jumping into it.

Here is the fabric:

So I pulled the trigger on 2yds of the vinyl overlay. My goal is to install it in the front door panels as well as the panels above the rear armrests.
