Default Decklid Blackout

I wanted to blackout my decklid panel but I can't see paying for it!! LOL!!

We had a piece of flat black 3M wrap material left over from a wrap so I took it and did the installation last night. Took off the fake gas cap, cleaned the panel real good and applied the wrap material. Then I cut it to fit and made a cutout around where the fake gas cap goes then stuck the cap back on using 3M molding tape.

Not bad for 2 dollars in molding tape!!

I am thinking about doing the cowl on the hood, the roof and the whole trunk & spoiler in flat black. Not sure. Here is a pic of the rest of my car. I think it would look pretty good with my wheels. Outside of that, the good thing is that it is just vinyl so if I don't like it I can peel it off!

I think your spoiler would look good black

And I like this hood, if I may recommend.

Turned out really good!
To add to your black and silver theme, have you considered tinting your side blinkers, tail lights and 3rd brake light?
Also, a (silver/black) chin spoiler would add a nice touch too, like the California Special front bumpers. =-)

Car, when I was looking at the pic I didnt see the wing and I thought it looked really sharp. Ever thought of taking it off?

Also that pic looks just like my first pic after tinting my tail lights. Just sayin.

Also maybe cut your aentenna. It's cheap and looks better. Unless you use radio that is.

Looks great! I spent $24.99 on my blackout decal and thought it was a good deal, but you beat me. Definitely take a hack saw to the antennae, free and worth it. I cut 12" off mine (to roof level) and the reception was not affected.
