Default How many cans of plastidip?

i want to paint my rims, i have stock 18 inch rims that came with my 08 gt premium, how many 9oz spray cans do i need to paint all 4 rims?

I was told 2 would suffice. But I would probably get 3.

I have not done it, that's just what a friend of mine told me.

keep it posted because Ive heard it doesnt work to well on rims/does work really well lol. i wanna do it too but not sure if its a waste

I used under 2 cans of plastidip, did about 3 coats on each. I posted my review in a thread. You should be able to see it on my profile. I'm about 6 months in with it and it held up really well. Just be careful your first few months of cleaning and what not, as the 'dip' still will be slightly soft. Also watch out because the can will spray bubbles occasionally. It dries fast, but like I said, be careful as it takes time to set. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

I didn't like it when I did mine, it was a pain to clean.

I would go ahead and get 3 cans. If you have it left over, do emblems or something.

pulled the trigger today and did mine before the storm hit lol. I only used 1 can and got about 4 coats on them. Came out looking really nice IMO. I have 5 cans left..what to do with these what to do with these lol.

11oz cans right? can u post pictures of how it looks like?
