Nice! Extra set of eyes and hands are always good! I installed my quarter panel window louvers myself. The install went well, however the 3M tape on the one corner did not adhere as it should, so I had to re-do.

I'm keeping an eye on one corner of the drivers side. looks like it might be pulling away slightly. How hard was it to re-do?

When installing my louvers, I followed the prep instructions to a "T" and took my good ole time. I think the 3M tape provided was not the greatest quality. I purchased some Heavy Duty 3M tape from Home Depot, when fixing the corner.

Honestly, it was a PITA. It took me a lot longer to fix the corner than it did to install both louvers. Hence, I did not remove the whole louver when fixing the corner. I used fishing line to cut the tape free from the louver and then I used sand paper on the louver, to ensure all of the adhesive was removed. I also used rubbing alcohol (90% or higher) to clean the area where the tape adheres to the car.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I have some 3M tape already so I might just try to do the one corner. I got the scoops prepainted and they still had the painters tape over the 3M tape. Part of the platic on the 3M tape had been cut when they trimmed the painters tape. Not sure if this caused the issue. It's not really noticable to anyone but me. I'm just picky like that.

It's possible. When fixing....patience is key. ;-)
Good luck!

I just had to dissolve the 3M to get one of mine off. It was keeping the door from opening.

Used some leftover 3M from the Eleanor louvers to get it back on.

I like the CS scoops, one of the mods I want to do to my 06. Did you get them from American Muscle?
