Cosmetic suggestions!

I'll have to check out the mirror covers, I hadn't considered them.
If I wanted to black out the grill (headlights, foglights, pony) would covers look fine or should I buy replacement smoked/blacked lights?

Black vinyl wrap on the the roof would look killer. American Muscle has it for like $125
I'd leave the front turns since they sort of blend in with the yellow. Unless you want to go for a blackout look then I'd go with the
hidden fog grill $180
smoked front turns $50
smoked rear side markers - $50
either way I would go with the trunk blackout panel, it helps break up the rear end of the car some.

+1000 on the matched color mirror covers! They even look great on a black car!
I prefer a more sleek look myself, so I would suggest:
1. Yellow Mirror Covers
2. Clear Front Turn Signal Markers w/Chrome Amber Bulbs
3. Black Vinyl Rear Decklid Panel
4. Painted CDC Classic Chin Spoiler (leave the center unpainted if doing #4)
5. GT500/GTCS Rear Bumper
6. Staggered Wheels (taller in rear if not lowering)
7. 2010 GT500 Hood Vent (if you are brave enough - lol)
I don't like the tacked-on fake scoops and vents. It takes away from the lines of the 05-09 Mustang IMO.

covers work great on the fogs, but on the headlights not so good.
with the slight body flex driving, the driver side one kept popping off, so i went with tinted overlays on the headlights.
although i think getting replacement smoked headlights have a neater look, up close you can tell my headlights have a tinted film on them, and they are not DOT approved if that matters to you.

I agree, a painted CDC Chin Spoiler is a great addition to the 05-09 body styles. Also, the Aggressive Chin Spoiler is always a good option on these cars:
OP, louvers are a great idea as well as tinting your lights and mirror covers are a must. I would say, however, that lowering springs and better dampers and maybe even wheel spacers out back to have the wheels sit flush with the fender would make the ride absolutely killer and very aggressive. I also agree, a rear deck lid that covers the rear emblem would look great on your color

I personally believe that in this crowd of Mustang owners who are obsessed with mass amounts of exterior modifications, you have to keep it simple to stand out.
Some nice rims, a slight drop, and then throw the rest of that money into mods that make it go faster.
