The AM ones look better IMO. They are on my eventually list.

Yep, agreed.

The AM one's also don't seem to have the visible mold line that appears on the front of the A47 stalk section.

I think they're both good choices.
Yeah I noticed that mold line too when I went out to look at my mirrors.

I wonder how well the MMD mirrors will stand up to the test of time. I mean the unpainted ones. My Agent 47 mirrors started peeling on top where it's most exposed to the sun. I had to take the mirrors off and paint the housing with black trim paint. If the MMD's were available at the time, I probably would've gotten them instead. Having no mold lines is a plus.

I'd like to see a side by side comparison of the two. Maybe there's a slight size difference; maybe not. Maybe the A47's are swept back more on the stalk; maybe not. AM are you listening?

Oh and who is MMD? Never heard of them.

Yeah the 47s were not supposed to be left unpainted and of course, the mold lines had to be smoothed out before painting.
I wonder if you'd get in the same scenario with the MMD unpainted...

Regardless of the brand, the painted cup only is the way to go with that style mirror, unless you go with the extreme I went to...

I saw your car at one of VMP's dyno days few years back. I gotta say I liked what you did but I wish there was a better way of filling in the spot left by the missing mirror housing.

I like the MMD's, but I am also very happy with my Agent 47's. I was out ~$400.00 by the time I had mine painted, and the paint job was not perfect, but I do like the the thinner stem and tear drop look on the 47's. I still love Pascal's, but we are not all pro's!

Where was that, at the PRI show?

Anyway, you pretty much need to be a fabricator to do what I did...
Putting 69/71 mirrors on the door is no big deal (except for the manual remote location inside) but making a filler plate in lieu of the OEM truck mirrors, is where the craftsmanship is.
Paid off in the end though.

They say "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", but now days it all seems like copyright infringement or patent violations. They look really nice, maybe a bit nicer fit and finish than my Agent 47 mirrors. It looks like they are painted so it makes me wonder what kind of prep was done to them. My car is black, so I did not paint or prep my A47s. I know there are some mold lines across the triangular piece that mounts to the car. I am also starting to notice some rippling across the same triangle. Looks like you can see a faint pattern of the supporting plastic behind the finished surface. One final thing, the top point of the triangle is also bowed away from the pillar creating a small gap. I can't remember if they were like this when I installed them or if it is some deformation from the sun and heat. Other than that I really like them! haha. These look like a very good option to the A47 brand.

These look really good...but I'm not exactly sure why they cost more than a freaking bumper...

I didn't like the mold line on my agent 47's, so I had my body guy sand and paint them. If these had been available at the time, I would have probably taken a chance on them.

Let's see what the bumper costs after it's painted, paint ain't cheap.
