Default 2006 v6 styling ordeals.

Sorry if it's the wrong section or if there's a better one for it.

Anyways just got a nice little 2005 v6 prem, she's a good girl with very low mileage and I wanted to treat her to some new rims.

She's screaming yellow, and some of the packs I was looking at:

Personally I think the first set would look just awesome, seeing as the yellow already gives off the nice shine you'd normally want from your car.

Also what do you think about the prices?

Am's prices are always solid, no worries there.
Both sets would look good, but I would favor #2...
The baker will educate you why
Personally I would not stagger a v6. Go 255/45/18 all around
and save driveline weight.

You can't go wrong with either of those styles.. I'd be a little more toward the matte black GT00 option.. And like mayo said, just keep it standard 18x9 all the way around for a V6

Ant-Man,

Welcome to The MustangForums and Congratulations on the 05' Sixxer! Post up some pics we'd love to check it out. As far as rims go I don't think you can go wrong with Screamin' Yellow. Matte and or Gloss would look awesome, go with the Matte since they're your personal favorite!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Congrats your sixxer! I really like the black Saleen style wheels.
Here's a thread you may like.

I like the black Saleen style out of those 2 choices. As far as same size in all 4 corners or staggered...depends on if you care about being able to rotate them or not, to get a longer life out of the tires. Me personally, I like the staggered look.

Good luck!

Alright I think I'll go with the Saleen, now correct me if I'm wrong but the matte is supposed to have a slightly glossier finish correct? Also probably won't go staggered since she's mainly for looks and I'm not going to be working her too hard.

No, matte is basically flat black.. And staggered would be more about looks.. There's no performance benefit in staggered, it's a meaner look though.

(waits for someone to argue the extra inch wide rim helps traction)

Get some steering stops as well or be ready
for some inside front tire rubbage during full
lock-lock turns.
