OP, I'd say matte but it would really depend on your car and also what wheel you ended up going with..

And that is completely subjective.. It depends on the brand you go with. I've had black chrome before and never had problems, they weren't cheap though, in the range of 400+ a wheel.

If you want matte black and want easy to keep clean then go with
a semi gloss black powder coat.

Looks matte and stays cleaner than both gloss and matte black.
Can't go wrong with it.

Its mineral gray. I used plasti dip in the wheels to see if i would like the color. So far its looking good just not a fan of the way the stock bullit wheels look something about them looks like ill probably go for some 2010 style wheels and go with the black theme it just seems like it needs to be lowered when doing all black.
