Default Interior window seal scratching tint?

Hey guys - I got my windows tinted about a month ago, and I've already got what looks to be several scratches on both door windows in the tint. I think it is coming from the window seal in the top of the door....has anyone else experienced this? I know the tint that was used was high quality and it was professionally done, so that's not the issue. Any ideas?

05 and 06 mustangs didn't have a soft inlay on the inner window trim. The fix was to add a layer of moleskin to the trim to avoid the scratching. Just search it on the forum or google it. 07+ mustangs don't have the issue since ford started adding felt to the trim.

07 also had that issue. The easiest way to fix it (this what I did) buy the trim for the 08 and up as they come with the felt already installed. Works great and is easy to change. Did mine in mid 08 and still no scratches.

Just did the moleskin in my 05 a month ago. It came with straightforward instructions and was easy to apply. Unfortunately when I bought the car the damage was already done, and I had to have the windows re-tinted.

Why would you hassle with trying to apply moleskin?? You can buy the part from the dealer? I've read about guys in AZ that had the adhesive lose adhesion in the summer heat. Not worth it, go buy the part.

My '07 has this problem. I'm going to give Moleskin a try whenever I get around to it.
