Default Price on touch up?

I drive a lot of long highway miles and have tons of chips from rocks on the front of my stang. Anyone know about how much it would be to have it professionally touched up? Just need a ball park estimate. There are no paint shops around where I am in college.

Thanks guys

Is there any reason you don't want to try to do the paint touch up yourself? I have not used this product, but from what I have read it gives decent results. You're still going to be able to see where the chips were if you look closely, but the overall appearance should be a lot better. www.drcolorchip.com

I wonder if that would stuff work on big chips. Most of mine are right around 3/8 inch. I also found that my paint is starting to peel away around my lower grill and turn signal.

I will be getting an estimate on my front bumper next Monday. I post when I find out.

Sweet. Thanks! I cant stand how horrible it looks when I touch up my bumper with the little bottle of touch up paint. I may try the kit that Art161 suggested.

lol you should try having a black car in the a desert, its like a sandblaster hit my hood bumper and fenders. I am in the process of touching up the chips on mine as well. I am just using duplicolor touch up pen and my porter cable with m105 compound to smooth it out. I might try i little wet sanding. White would be so easy to touch up.

You should get it repainted and have a 3M clear bra put on it for long-term protection

haha, yeah i will give you that. I have always just used the duplicolor pen, and it looks bad to me. Could be that I use the brush instead of the pen, and that I suck at painting and touch up. How do you paint paint your mustang? I can always use advice.

Another vote for Dr. Colorchip here. I used it on my Mustang and it works great! You can still notice the chips if you look hard for them but the mini chips are hard to spot even close.

That's two votes for Dr. Colorchip. It must work pretty good then. I might give it a try.
Unfortunately I will have to pay a shop to fix where it is peeling down low on my bumper.

CAR-15, you are definitely right. I thought about using that cover before, but decided not to. Guess I gotta pay the price haha.
