Cool Halo problem

Just purchased a 2006 GT Mustang. The car is equipped with halo headlights and passenger side halo doesn't work 50% of the time. It starts off dim and only half will work. Sometimes the entire ring lights up but I noticed at the bottom of the halo (where the led's are located behind the little strip) there is a sign that one of the led's had got very hot and melted the ring. It has a distinct brown color in that area, as if you took lighter to a plastic rod and watched it melt for a minute. Any ideas?????? Will upload a photo later

Sounds to me that if the actual ring looks burnt,. that you are stuck either replacing the ring (if you can find one) or replacing the whole headlight unit.

ur probably gonna need to get a new one. these led suck where did u get the halos from?

when i first got the leds both sides of my led would not work. they are very sensitive so im making my own leds. there ok but i want them brighter so i just bought new leds again.
