Default HID Kit Question *HELP*

Hey guys, so I bought a 55w 6000k hid kit from retro solutions a few months ago. I have the fog and headlights both...

Well a few days ago my fog lights just quit working. A few times I've ran the wires down and looked for things that could make them quit working. I can't seem to figure out the problem. After a few times of playing with it under the hood the lights will click on but go back off. Now they just won't come on period. I'm almost 100% certain that it is not the bulbs considering they kick on sometimes.

I have a feeling it's the wiring or the ground. Can anyone give me any insight on this problem? I don't know what to look for with HID's kind of a noob with this type of electrical stuff. I guess I will just have to take it to someone who does it every other day at a shop...

you may need a resistor to help supply the power to the HID. Not too familiar with HID's but that could be the case.

A resistor? I'm pretty sure I have everything I need. I just can't trouble shoot the problem. I have a feeling it is a bad ground or something simple. I hope so anyways!

you need to see if you are getting power to the ballast, then check to see if you are getting power to the bulb. then check to see if you are getting power before and after the resistor.

did you wire thru a relay to supply the power
to the HID ballasts directly from the battery
