Default Door Panel Question..

All I have seen are thread/complaints of the IUP/ICAP door panels drooping. With that being said here's my dilemma....

After searching for a short while I found a pair of the IUP/ICAP door panels for sale. These already look like the panel is drooping. My plan was/is to have the door paneling redone in white to match my car. Would it be better to just have it done to my current stock (shaker 500) doors, or do I need to buy the IUP/ICAP doors and have it reupholstered? I think I'm leaning towards just having my current doors done by an upholstery shop since I would need to have the OEM IUP/ICAP doors redone anyway. If I go this route I can avoid paying $300 for the IUP/ICAP doors and just use that to fund the custom work. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I'd go the route you described. Have a good upholstery shop do the work and use your old panels. Unless you can find a cheap pair. Good luck. Been thinking of this myself.

I looked around a bit online and so far haven't found a place. Most places I find just do vinyl repair. Does anyone know of a good shop with decent prices in the Tampa area?
