Of all the smoked lights I have on my Horse, this 3rd brake light from Smoked Tail Lights is the highest quality and darkest.

Excellent. I just ordered one. Should go well with my Gen5 tails, CDC blackout panel, and 5% tinted rear window.

07 and up need a resistor for some reason. 05-06 Model Years do not need a resistor. Once you add this splice in resistor to your third brake l.e.d. Light, it will work as it should.

Sweet!
I'm jealous, those gen 5 lights look bad ***!

Resistor
Another reason to go with the one I posted. OEM, uses reg bulb.

I just thought I'd mention that the smoked LED third brake light I got from AM is made by Spec-D. They don't mention that in their description. I also think it's a shade lighter than I'd like (with all my other smoked lights) but once I put the rear Stalker spoiler over it, I'm sure it'll look much darker.

I was disappointed about that too. Looks more clear than smoked IMO. So I ordered the tint and covered it. Still is bright all when you hit the brakes and looks way better.

I went to Walmart and got some basic 35% tint, applied it. Looks a lot better. 20% would have been perfect though.
