Thumbs up Painted stripe with plastidip

Painted this today. I've been hearing a ton about this stuff, and I was wanting to paint my stripe a matte black anyways. All the paint shops around here said $300. After hearing that I figured I would give this stuff a try (since it just peels off) And honestly I think this is a good enough job without paying $300.
$6>$300.

Also went to a small car show here last tuesday (wasnt judged)

Wow, the stripe looks great.

I have been reading up on plasti-dip and am impressed by the many uses. Ive seen people black out their emblems, paint body parts, wheels, etc. So i finally decide to try it out and go out to home depot and completely sold out of plasti-dip. Three home depots later and a couple automotive stores and I have only managed to find one can. Over here in california, plasti-dip must be in high demand.

oh snap!

Better close up pics that is. If it looks good, I may try that with a KR stripe and blackout panel replacement...

My concerns being-
1. It might come off too easily, when I dont want it to
2. Damage to the underlying paint

To be honest im a little excited about this stuff... I may try it with emblems and the Pony Package grille and wheels. I just dont want to mess up my car

Ok.. I'm really loving this! I just wish they had gloss because then I would paint the stripes I want onto my car..

Edit: Didn't you have a black billett grille on your car before???
