Painted stripe with plastidip

@tanner
Thanks
@jaybestangs
you were right on point. lol. masking tape and newspaper.
We masked it off, so sanding needed. sprayed it on but a heavy first coat and i would recommend only one coat this stuff doesnt act like regular paint since it drys on like rubber. so youll have blotchy marks everywhere if you dont do it right the first time and try and fix it with more.
@blacksmoke
I actually dont have any experiance at painting. at all. It was actually me and a few buddies that did this, and about the "having more *****" comment, the stuff peels right off if it gets messed up at all during the process or afterwards. So I figured why not? lol
@zpounds
Yeah I was a little frustrated with that when I saw it after I took the grille off but like I said I fixed it and it looks alot better now.
Also a little update. Took a pressure washer to it earlier. Got around 2 inches away from it just to see what would happen...nothing. Did not budge at all. Plastidip is one amazing product.

I have heard that the Plasti-Dip peels off without leaving residue but do you think or know if it could damage the paint in the long run? I'm seriously thinking of striping my car with this stuff now. Lol.

I'm sure everyone is thinking about what they can plasti dip matte black if you can get fantastic looking stripes like that!
One of my friends had the idea to paint the pillars between the headlight and grille to give it an aggressive 2010+ look.

I seriously doubt this will harm the paint after sitting there for an extended period of time. Its kind of like putting vinyl stripes on your car. Thats almost exactly how it dries and since it only rests on the paint and doesnt chemically bond to it I doubt there will be any issue.

Ive been wanting to do a rear seat delete. But I believe the kit on AM is like $140? Thats too much for flimsy wood imho. lol I may just make my own and carpet it. the whole 9 yards.
How low are you gonna drop her?
And I know the sig deffinately needs a changing since thats the pic I took when I first got the car about 7 months ago haha
