Painted stripes any good shops around Chicago?
I should have posted this question here. Does anybody know of any paint shops in Chicago's North or Northwest suburbs? I have black vinyl stripes and the are getting too strached up. I would like to find a good paint shop in my area for a reasonable price.

As would I - I'm planning on vinyl's but if there's a good paint shop that's not too expensive I'd def go for it.

I don't live too far from Lake Forest. I live in Mundelein and I bought my car at Victor Ford in Waconda - they are the only dealership in this area that sells Saleens (my boyfriend bought one). So it was a package deal.

Off topic...is that possibly the Blue Saleen I see driving around the Long Grove/Palatine area?
On topic...I doubt that this will help much, but I had a friend who used to go to a place up in Waukegan to get custom stuff done, and there's a place in Lake Zurich that does auto detail, tinting, etc., but I'm not sure what that one is called. It's in the shopping plaza by Target (up closer to Firestone/Casey's Muffler, etc.), but I'm not sure exactly how much they do.

Not sure what's reasonable for you. There's a place off I-94 north of Racine, WI called CPV. (Custom Painted Vehicles) The guy is a magician. He did an American eagle on the tailgate of my F-150 that was uncanny. I did call about full stripes with pinstripe accents (ala Chip Foose) and he said probably $1500.
