That is my next purchase.....A lot of people seem to like the C&L/Predator combo.

What kind do you have and where did you get it from?

Thanks guys!

I am about to do the same thing to mine. from what i've heard, the C&L is definitely the way to go, but here's the deal with the tuner:

if you have an automatic, go with the Xcal II
if you have a manual, go with the Predator

i keep hearing that that's just how it is

I've got a C&L with an XCAL2 from Brenspeed. I went with the XCAL2 instead of Predator because so many people on this forum were saying that was a better combo with the automatic transmission. The CAI and tune made a significant difference in how the car performs.

What about the C&L and the XCAL2 for a manual?

like i said, everyone here seems to prefer the Predator for the manual. I've heard that it works pretty well.

I know Will said the Pred is the way to go with a manual...but does anyone have the manual with the XCAL2?

Reason why I ask, I can get the C&L with the XCAL2 for under $600 shipped.

The cheapest I can find the C&L/Pred combo is $675.00 shipped @ Brenspeed.

HHHHEEELLLPPP!!!!!!

Does the "cheap" price include tunes from a reputable place? Personally, I'd pay the extra $75 to get Brent's tunes and customer service...

I have a manual SCT 1 and a Steeda CAI I got the tunes from Brent and he is absolutely the way to go... I am looking to sell my Steeda cold air kit for $175 if anyone wants it so I can upgrade to the C&L and the SCT2. Email me if interested, I am also selling my stock wheels and tires for $500 if anyone wants them, I am in Michigan.

Just curious.. not debating, not picking favorites, nothing like that. Simply a curiosity question. And take in to consideration that when I was NA, I actually had parts from both on my car at the same time ( Steeda CAI and C&L Intake Tube ) and was over 300rwhp.

How is the C&L an upgrade over the Steeda?
