i've found that very few people will even rev on me as soon as they see i'm in a GT....

how do you redline in 1st then shift in an auto?

Not sure what your asking here. I say put into 1st floor it until just before the redline and slap the shifter into 2nd. If you go past the redline the limiter will kick in and your car will miss and sputter until you drop below the redline. That is unless you have a tune and have changed your limiter settings.

 

I agree, I have only had two cars rev me since got the GT. One was a late 70's-early 80's trans -am and the other was a late 80's Monte' Carlo SS, I have run my brothers 94' Cobra but that doesn't count. I have picked a fight or two, but I wonder why these ricer's stay away from these cars?

 

Very few will challenge me, but it is almost no fun when they do. My nearly stock 5 spd GT is unbelievable. I took down a Mitsu Lancer Evo today and man did it feel good!!! I just can't wait to actually start putting some go-fast mods on the beast.
