Fed Up With My Borla Exhaust
Okay I am not nuts, but I have about had it with my Borla / Ford Racing axle back.
It is getting louder and louder. Has an awesome rumble too it but driving 55mph or so it is just too loud. Had it on the interstate the otherday and hated it.
I only have about 2500 miles on it. I figured it would be broken in by now, but the drone and noise level is getting worse.
I have two layers of dynamat type stuff and a layer of 1/2 in sound absorbtion foam in the trunk, but the noise seems to be coming from other places.
Any suggestions? Any mufflers out there quieter than the Borla?
I would put it back to stock, but I like the sound! Just wish there was a volume **** to turn it down.
Not just that but I have seen my gas mileage increase etc.
Anyone have anything quiter they would like to trade for something louder perhaps???

haha i went with TWISTER dumped before the axle sounds awsome, very quit inside the car while on the highway, and when i get on it its a whole different beast.. better performance and sound then you will ever get from flomaster, corsa, or any other exhaust its straight threw no backwards twisting inside the exhaust to creat a sound that actually just slows down air flow and lowers performance. go with twisters or if you want a more nasty grawl go with bullits.
