Did the rim backspacing change from 2005 to 2006? Also, will 20x8.5 inch rims look odd in the rear?

I think a lot of your questions can be answered by tirerack.com. I agree with a lot of the guys here, go with what you like after all its your baby. Someone in this forum said my rims looked German made. That's his opinion and he is entitled to it, bottom line is I think they look awsome. They still have the stock springs and shocks and the handling is still good, although she will have Eibach springs and Tokico shocks instlled.

BTW my car has 8.5 front and 10 in the rear. For tires, I have Toyo 275/30/20 rear and 245/35/20 front. No regrets.

I got that from Raceline and Carol Shelby Wheels who makes a lot of wheels for Mustangs. It still would be nice to hear someone else confirm it but I don't think they would be wrong. They both said that with a 2006, you need a 1/4" spacer if you use wheels for a 2005. I thought it was very odd they would change between 2005 and 2006. -Joe
