I purchased an Sct2 from Bamachips, I waited 10 days to receive it, when it arrived it did not work. Since Bamachips has no telephone number I had to e-mail them after a four hour wait I was told to check FOR A BLOWN FUSE ON MY CAR. I did this the fuse was okay, another e-mail was sent, 2 hours later I was told that a new Sct 2 would be sent out overnight mail, this was Thurs. Now it is Sat. no replacement part. I have e-mailed Bamachips three times, since yesterday when the Sct 2 should have been here, no reply. The tracking number I was given by him states via e-mail cannot be found. This company has no phone number listed on its web site, you are at the mercy of when they feel like answering there e-mail. I will never do business with someone like this again that don't list a number so you can talk to them and see what the problem is. I have cancelled my order and will be sending the defective unit back, I hope I'm not screwed out of 400.00 dollars. I know alot of people have used him without a problem, but there is one now,.needles to say I'm quite upset.

 

I just read in the V6 forum that Doug is at some big Ford event. Have some patience, everything I've read about him has been outstanding, the guy sounds as honest as they come. We all get impatient when it comes to getting goodies for our cars, but sometimes it's better to chill and wait it out I have no doubt he'll make it right when he finds out about the problems.

 

Don't they have to program it before they send it? Maybe they meant that it was going to be shipped overnight to you when it was ready, not exactly on Thursday. I think with UPS, if you have an account with them, you can print the label and get a tracking number, then ship the package at a later date. I wouldn't rush them when it comes to a tuner though. I've been waiting for more than a week now to get my intake and tuner from BrenSpeed, Brent told me how busy he's been the last couple of days and that it would take a couple of days for my tuner to get programmed. I'd rather get good tunes a few days later that crappy tunes the next day!

yeah i've e-mailed doug about cams and engine parts a few times and he seems to be a very knowledgable and nice guy. i'm sure that when he gets back from orlando he will set things right. he is a member of another forum and everybody there has nothing but good things to say about him. trust me i know it's frustrating but sometimes circumstances don't allow vendors to respond right away. if you have already e-mailed him i'm sure he will get back to you soon. also check out some other forums(the names won't print on this forum so i give you a hint: one is a source for mustang forums and the other is a forum for modular motored fords. don't know why we can't link directly but those should help you get a hold of doug since everyone there knows him.

Exactly i got a diablosport and i got an sctxcal2 with 2 tunes one from fred at evo performance and one from brenspeed... So far best tune and fastest reply and best customer care is brenspeed. Ditto that
