width of 05/06 GT

I know the width of the mustang is 74", what i'm after if anyone can help is...how far out from the body do the wing mirrors protrude?

Measured from the widest part of the door panel, about 5.5 inches. So if you are looking for total width for transport, I would go with 86 at the LEAST - shoot for about 90"

thankyou, its for if i have enough width to get the car down my drive into my garage, I have a 90" width so it looks like it might be a bit tight

Yeah - thats a tight squeeze. You might want to get out the dynomite and widen that path

i wish! have just put up a new fence this weekend and gained an extra 4" to give me the 90" width, shall have to se when the car arrives if it fits through
