So, I'm sitting in bumper to bumper traffic saturday night just south of downtown here in chicago and it's literally 5mph stop and go even being at 10:30pm or so, lovely eh? I am in the second to left lane and this little old honda prelude is next to me in the far left. His lane has moved up and he has about 3 or 4 lengths in front of him and suddenley he revs his little raspy tin can at me three times! I look over with the "you've got to be kidding me" look on my face and he quickly turns his head and jets up the 3-4 lengths while I just sit there laughing staring at the car bumper directly in front of me. Sitting in traffic around Chicago? Never! Tearing up 94 again, going to make getting to Sox games suck.

My personal favorite is at the red lights. I sometimes scare people with the rumble of my beefy Borlas. As I approach a busy street (say a Manhattan street on a Monday), there is a crowd waiting to cross before they get the signal to walk. So as they start walking, I rev the engine to 3K RPM and suddenly some people get scared.. hahaha... I TRY NOT TO LAUGH or SMIRK else that would be a dead give away but SO much fun to see there reaction.

I was on I-40 on the way home from my dynotune and a "ricer" pulled up next to me, revved the tin can and then sped away. I laughed and kept cruising at 75. Low and behold a trooper coming the other way spun around and chased the ricer who had to be at 100. I just waved and grinned as I rolled by them as they sat on the side of the interstate.

Oh yeah, some real brilliant ones on top of that whole mess! Everything going south, Skyway included is going to be a mess and they didn't come up with any alternate routes because all of those are going to be worked on too. It's gonna be fantastic!! Can't wait as my Dad lives in the south burbs and there is going to be no easy way to visit him this summer.
Oh and Go Cubs!! Hahaha!

What town is pops in?
Pops lives in Griffith Indiana. It's right over the Indiana line, by Hammond, Dyer, Munster etc. etc. I usually always take the Skyway down to see him and with no traffic it takes all of 30min. Not going to be that way this summer though. I'm really thinking my only alternative this year is going to be lake shore drive. That's cool though, the new vert should like that just fine!!
Congrats to your boys too, I'm not a bitter Cubs fan. I cheered for you, was happy you won and think it's great all around for the city! Not my fault I was raised my whole life as a Cubs fan, you can talk to Pops about that one!
