Update: The new stock hood is in and the PDR will be done next Monday. Hood painted and restalled with car to be returned by Thursday. So all in all a learning experience that will mean driving my old 4X4 to work on iffy weather days and leave the 05 at home.

 

It hailed this past weekend in CA... the hail was so tiny, it was like it was raining slushees.

 

Wow I almost had the same problem as you. I bought a new GT this past weekend and on the way home from the dealership it started to hail on us!!!! Luckily the biggest they got was about the size of a small bouncy ball. Sorry to hear that though.
