Default choosing a color

Ok, so I'm trying to decide on color and at this point am considering between one of the blues, the silver or the gray.
I realize looks are subjective, but have there been any problems anyone has heard of for any particular color? Every once in awhile you hear of such things and anything to narrow the choice helps.

I'm not huge on the white, yellow or green, have black now and want something different, and the reds look great but red sometimes fades funkily over time. The light blue and silver seem more traditional (I just remember lots of those colors back in the day) but the darker blue and gray look good too and might show off some of the badgework better (like the silver GT badge in the middle of the trunk) if you see what I mean.

Opinions? I'm also thinking dark charcoal interior, if that matters, which might contrast better with the blues or silver...argh!

I'm biased but I love the Vista Blue (dark blue) with the dark charcoal leather. That's the exact color combo I ordered;

Go with the dark blue. It's the least boring of the color choices you've listed.

yeah, the vista blue was originally the color I was having them try to get me--there was apparently a dealer they found online that had one. But I guess the other dealer wouldn't let it go. They had told me it was pretty hard to get a dealer to give up a 5 speed GT around here as there weren't many.

That blue looks good, but is less traditional. The silver, windveil blue and even the gray are the same or very close to originally available colors. The blue isn't quite. But I do like it.

Like most, I'm biased in favor of what I picked: Tungsten Grey w/Dark Charcoal interior.

The Tungsten is different from the Mineral Grey offered in 2005--it is in the blue end of the spectrum while the Mineral is in the red end of the spectrum. That makes the Mineral look kind of like a sepia tone photo print, whereas the Tungsten gets a funky blueish/purple haze in some light conditions. The Tungsten is a more complex paint mix, so you'll get more hues and tones like this in different light.

Check out some of the gallery images of folks rides--mine are all set at early sunset, so it shows off some of those hues I mentioned. Oh yeah! Also, big tip: go to dealerships and see the actual cars! I was dead set on Satin Silver until I actually saw a Satin Silver next to a Tungsten--my mind changed instantly. No contest for me. And that's what you want, a color you can feel in your heart is your favorite, no contest.

Best,
-j

yeah, I recently saw the grey in person for the first time the other evening and it had sort of a purplish hue almost that looked REALLY good. It wasn't even in the running based on the pics on the site which make it look very flat, but in person (at least from a distance which is how I saw it) it looked really cool. Went well with the stock wheels too I thought.
