Single and twin turbo setups, where should the turbo's go?
I think this is a good question for the masses.
2 companies are developing single and dual turbo kits for the 05+ mustang.
Company one is developing the kits to attach to a new set of headers and be placed down by the kmember. Piping will be routed to the front fascia and up to the intake.
Company two is developing single and twin turbo setups but is placing them at the rear of the vehicle next to the mufflers and routing back to the intake.
Who can think of the pros and cons of each setup and which one would you prefer?

I think company two will go out of business really fast by trying to get people to buy into there idea of placing the turbos in the rear of the car.

MM&FF's SEMA coverage showed a Garrett TT setup which appeared to put one turbo by the battery and the other where the airbox is. Couldn't find any info on it though.
The rear turbo setups lack efficiency which is the whole spirit of a turbo.

Ya were all coming out with single and twin turbo kits. Its like the in thing with the new mustang. I think because of placement of the small K member this allows most people to be able to do this at home if the wish. I think the rear setup migh tbe a little easier but in the long run you probably would still need to yank the headers for something else.
